All-4-One’s very first single “So Much In Love,” scaled to RIAA Gold Sales and top 5 pop status. The California based quartet soon marked their place in the industry as premier balladeers. Their second single, “I Swear,“ claimed the billboard “Hot 100” #1 spot for 11 consecutive weeks, while sales sky rocketed to hold the #1 selling single status in 1994 and third most successful single of the rock era. “I Swear” STILL holds a spot on Billboard’s “Hot 100”as one of the most successful singles of all time and has been named by ASCAP as one of the greatest love songs of the 20th Century. “I Swear” is recorded in history with an imprint in the Guinness’s World Book of records (as the biggest selling single of 1994). The group’s second album was highlighted by “I Can Love You Like That,”, which hit the top 5 on the Billboard “Hot 100.”
All-4-One is featured on the multi-platinum soundtrack to Walt Disney Pictures animated feature film, The Hunchback of Notre Dame with the main theme song “Someday,”, the 5-time platinum Space Jam Soundtrack with “I Turn To You,” and Tapestry Revisited: A Tribute to Carole King with their rendition of “Tapestry,” which sold over a million units. All-4-One’s songs are frequently licensed for commercials, music compilations TV shows and major motion pictures. Celebrating their 29th Anniversary this year, All-4-One continues to tour the world as the original members and a collection of hit songs under their belt.
Tony! Toni! Toné!’s contribution to music is most certainly legendary: a group regarded as a talented, authentic group of musicians who made some of the best R&B music of the 80's and 90's. From fun, upbeat, smash hits like Feels Good, to blues-leaning classics like The Blues to their signature love ballads like Anniversary, the sound of Tony! Toni! Toné! is soulful, organic, classic, and instantly recognizable. The group released five albums in all, including Who? (1988), The Revival (1990), Sons of Soul (1993), House of Music (1996), and Hits (1997). They’ve also amassed an impressive number of awards, including a 1991 NAACP Image Award for "Vocal Group of The Year," a 1991 American Music Award for "Favorite R&B/Soul Group," and an ASCAP Award for their single, Feels Good.
