Event Details
After more than 70 years of fighting to live her life on her own terms, Cher finally reveals her true story in intimate detail, in a two-part memoir. Hear from the iconic star as she gets up close and personal in a conversation with Sergio Kletnoy, the global entertainment director at Vogue.
Every ticket includes an unsigned copy of Cher: The Memoir Vol. 1.
The only woman to top Billboard charts in seven consecutive decades, she is the winner of an Academy Award, an Emmy, a Grammy, and a Cannes Film Festival Award, and an inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame who has been lauded by the Kennedy Center. With her trademark honesty and humor, Cher: The Memoir traces how this diamond in the rough succeeded with no plan and little confidence to become the trailblazing superstar the world has been unable to ignore for more than half a century.
Sergio Kletnoy is the global entertainment director at Vogue, where he oversees all celebrity bookings for Vogue U.S., British Vogue, Vogue Mexico & Latin America, as well as special editions for Vogue Italia, Vogue China, Vogue France and Vogue Japan.
Prior to joining Vogue, Kletnoy was the entertainment director at Harper’s Bazaar, where he led celebrity and entertainment bookings for the brand including musical acts for live performances. Over the course of his career, Kletnoy worked in entertainment at several media outlets including Women's Health, Seventeen, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Claire. Previously, he worked in the music industry where he produced World Music Awards and worked at numerous record companies including Sony, Motown, Arista, and Virgin Records. He lives in New York City.
